POLICIES

Buzzers Academies expects all our staff and volunteers to follow our Staff Code of Conduct. This policy provides guidance on the standards of behaviour required from our staff and volunteers. We aim to encourage staff and volunteers to meet the highest possible standards of conduct. Buzzers Academies staff members are in a position of trust and have a duty of care to all children that attend.

Children's safety is maintained as the highest priority at all times at Buzzers. Every attempt is made through carrying out the outings procedure and the exit/entrance procedure to ensure the security of the children is maintained at all times.

Buzzers Staff are NOT medical professionals and can not perform medical procedures In an emergency Buzzers Staff will call 999 and contact the parent/carer immediately. Please Note: A child can not be given any medication that is NOT supplied.

Parents/Carers are asked to telephone the Head office or academy if they are going to be late picking their child(ren) up. We are aware that parents may be delayed for several reasons. Our times are displayed very clearly on our banners and website so all parents/carers are aware of the time they should be at the academy to pick up their child(ren). If a child is not collected 15 minutes after the set pick up time, the lead coach will try to contact the parent/carer. If they are uncontactable the lead coach will call the emergency contact.
